An article from PC World points you to a download from Microsoft that enables you to convert Word documents to DAISY files.
The add-in allows users to save Open XML-based text files as DAISY XML, which in turn can converted into the DAISY Digital Talking Book (DTB) format using another software tool, Pipeline, the latest version of which was also released Wednesday.
If you have a Victor Reader Stream, or any other DAISY player this should be useful. I have been converting Word files to text files, which obviously doesn’t contain any navigational information. I’ll have to give this a try.
