AFB Launches community site for parents of Visually Impaired Children

place on the web designed for parents of visually impaired children to share information and resources.

The goal of is to provide connections and support. By providing accurate information and creating a forum for meaningful discussion, families and their visually impaired children will feel empowered to reach their full potential.


Another possibility for such a community oriented site could be connecting young people who are visually impaired with blind adults working in various fields. Telling a young person they can reach their goals is one thing, establishing mentorship’s gives the child concrete proof through real world  information and experience.
